Pearls and Beads on a Bridal Bouquet: How to Choose the Decoration
A bridal bouquet is seen not only by the guests but also by the photographer in close-up. The handle, ribbon and small details appear in almost every shot. That is why we decorate bouquets with beads and pearls, and this is included in the price of the bouquet.
Pearls
Pearl beads on fine wire form a "spray" that wraps around the bouquet handle over a satin ribbon, as in the photo. Pearls give a soft shine, don't compete with the flowers and suit almost any dress.
Works best:
- with white and cream bouquets: lisianthus, carnations, stock, roses;
- with satin and silk dresses or pearl embroidery;
- at a nikoh or classic wedding where a restrained, elegant look is wanted.
Beads
Beads on the bouquet handle are a more noticeable accent. They are chosen to match the dress, the bride's jewellery or the venue decor.
Work best:
- when you want to link the bouquet to your look: earrings, necklace, hair clip;
- with full dresses and shimmering fabrics;
- at an evening celebration where the lights bring out the sparkle.
How to choose a decoration
- Start from the dress. Pearls on the dress — pearls on the bouquet. Crystals or sparkle — beads.
- Don't overdo it. One accent on the handle is enough; the flowers stay the focus.
- Think about ribbons. A satin ribbon matching the bouquet looks elegant and shows off a pearl spray best.
- Show us a photo of the dress. Our florist will choose the decor so the bouquet and your look work as one.
Decorations and freshness
